Microsoft Planner: An Excellent Organizational Tool

Microsoft Planner has transformed the way I manage my tasks, increased my productivity, and reduced my use of paper. It has made me more time-efficient, enabling me to spend focused time on projects. Whether you are working alone or with a team, this app is an awesome tool for keeping track of projects and organizing what needs to be done (and when) in an easy-to-follow structure. It's way easier than using spreadsheets.

Syncs Between Windows Laptop and Android Device

One of the best things about Microsoft Planner is that it syncs between my Windows laptop and Android device. I use it constantly to stay on track in my highly multi-threaded work processes. This app is great for organizing my assignments and helping me keep track of what is due. I can also add this to my Outlook calendar so I have everything in one place.

Great for Team Projects

Microsoft Planner is not only great for organizing your own work, but it's also an excellent tool for keeping track of team projects. It allows you to assign tasks to team members professionally and get them done on time. The app has been implemented for all kinds of inventories applications, including planning and construction of new components, development of schematic systems for planning applications, and the creative process of building schematics for a range of artificial intelligence projects and mechanisms. It's also great for the creative process of a new project and development of programming networks for software development processes of the creative developer's and the creativeness.

Recurring Option Needed

The only downside to Microsoft Planner is that it doesn't have a recurring option built-in like 'To Do'. Currently, users have to use Power Automate for placing recurring tasks. It would be great if this feature was added to the app in the future.

Great for Admins and Employees

For those who care for their clients and peace of mind for their employees, I highly recommend admins to use Planner within their Microsoft 365 Business Solutions. It provides access to all Planner cross-platform resources and is set out like Microsoft To-Do, albeit with a much broader feature set. It's easy to access tasks and schedules, emulating principal components of the business-focused desktop working environment. It's good for keeping track of progress and monitoring outcomes.

Mobile App

The cramped space of a mobile phone screen has its limitations, but for checking in on project and task progress, the Planner app is ideal. It allows you to easily tick off items as you complete them alongside your team. The app syncs with other Microsoft applications, which is a great feature.

Upgrade Needed

Overall, Microsoft Planner is a great app that has increased the productivity and efficiency of my team. However, Microsoft needs to upgrade it to allow for customization of the mobile layout view. It can be a bit confusing how it (sometimes?) integrates with the MS To-Do app.

Kudos to everyone at Microsoft involved in the Planner service. It's getting better and better, gradually and consistently. If you haven't tried it yet, I highly recommend giving it a go!
